Identifying/scouting, researching, reviewing, and creating business case justification for external companies to become commercial partnerships, Joint Ventures, investments, or acquisitions. 2. Work with individual companies to generate actionable projects that may be realized within the Connected Energy and other Shell affiliates.  AccountabilitiesDevelop a pipeline of potential companies by working with Connected Energy Business Development, Shell Technology Ventures, others across Shell, and independent research and networking.For companies selected for pursuit, lead detailed investigation, including meetings, discussions, and business review to generate formal approvals to Investigate, and subsequently, as part of a team, work on delivering formal approvals for negotiation and final investment.Actively cultivate customer projects with partners or minority owned investments, and bring those projects to completion.Job Requirements: Deep knowledge of behind-the-meter and distribution-level power, heating/cooling systems, control systems and related technologies, including the demonstrated ability to use this knowledge and experience to identify and promote long-term commercial partnerships and sell the benefits of acquisition.Minimum fifteen (15+) years experience in clean energy technology and business solutions.Successful track record in acquisitions and investments, creating strategic partnerships, and growing business in DER technologies.Deep knowledge of business and regulatory challenges facing potential portfolio companies and partners, and ability to stay informed and current on rapid disruption within the power technology and energy services space.Successful track record in creating and implementing strategies for growth and profitability.Strong skills in operating through influence and stakeholder management.Excellent communicator.Experienced senior leader and technologist, equally comfortable operating with executives as well as with deep technical specialists.Demonstrated experience in crafting and delivering innovative business solutions to customers.Demonstrated ability to build/lead/coach and motivate high performance teams, and drive business results in partnerships or investments.  Disclaimer: Please note: We occasionally amend or withdraw Shell jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to the advertised closing date.Before applying, you are advised to read our data protection policy.
