Role: RA Passports Team LeadCompany: Bolashak-AtyrauExperience:Shall be educated to degree level in a technical discipline. Either previous experience in technical passport compilation on a major oil and gas project or previous experience in equipment technical inspection role (pressurized equipment, boilers, pressure vessels etc.), preferably as supervisor or higher. Must have good English skills or be willing to learn English. Leadership skills including tactfulness when dealing with internal and external issues required. Proactive, responsible, person with a keen attention to detail, and flexibility to adjust approach during execution of activities, as well as multitask, whilst maintaining priorities. Willing to move to Tengiz on 28/28 rotational basis.Job Requirements:RA Passports Team Lead is required to Lead a team of Coordinators providing Project oversight of RoK technical passports compilation for equipment and systems. Under the direction of the RA Passports and Registration Supervisor they shall assist in developing and managing the project process for registration of hazardous equipment. The Lead shall advise on technical passports issues, monitor and track progress and status of technical passports, identify gaps, and provide specialist advice in the field of technical passports and equipment registration. This position reports to RA Passports and Registration Supervisor and Responsibilities include:
• Responsible to lead the Equipment Passports Group in Tengiz, guide, advise, train and generally assist Junior members of the team
• Reports to RA Passports & Registration Supervisor on plans, activities and achievements, and implements execution of group activities as directed by Supervisor
• Responsible to facilitate eventual registration of hazardous equipment and therefore to ensure that technical passports for equipment, pipelines and piping systems are acceptable for registration
• Shall have own scope and a primary activity within this scope is to review supplier technical passports in Project document management system (POL), provide comments, and where necessary correct passports submitted by suppliers.
• Shall be experienced in working with technical passports and a specialist in industrial safety requirements and passports for at least one type of hazardous equipment
• Assist in updating of Technical Passports Specifications for Project in line with latest RoK Legislation, as well as Project and Base Operations Requirements
• Ensuring that all equipment and systems across the Project requiring a mandatory format passport, either for internal registration or registration with DIS are correctly identified and technical passports are compiled for them
• Assist RA Passports & Registration Supervisor in setting up and maintaining processes, procedures, tracking and reporting tools relevant to equipment passports and registration
• Development of strategies, plans, schedules, procedures as directed by Supervisor and provide advice and recommendations regarding equipment passports and registration
• Plan, organize and implement processes for equipment passports and registration
• Expediting of technical passports from suppliers and contractors
• Coordination with suppliers, contractors, and Interfacing with Procurement and Engineering to obtain required information to ensure all technical passports are filled in correctly
• Provide support, advice and suggestions to Supervisor as requested to ensure smooth running of passports process
• Assist in resolving issues related to passports scope, and interface with other Project groups and Base Operations as directed by Supervisor
• Support Passports team in general as required
• Participate in progress meetings with Contractors and Suppliers to expedite the timely completion of the passports process
• Provide input to weekly and monthly reports
